Fast food giant McDonald's has come under fire with some fans after they opened up their Monopoly tickets to reveal the wrong dates.
The popular promotion started last month after being postponed due the coronavirus pandemic, but some consumer have been left confused by what's written inside.
Customers have taken to Twitter to complain about "expired" tickets which went out of date months ago, as reported by Manchester Evening News.

Posting on the social media platform, one person said: " @McDonaldsUK why is it that a sticker I just got on 1/9/21 expires on the 4/5/21 ?"
Another said: "My codes don’t scan on the mcds app though, it’s really confusing."
"Codes aren’t scanning, help!" said a third.
But there is an explanation as to why McDonald's is releasing tokens with the wrong dates, as they posted a statement regarding this.
The fast food giant told customers the tickets are still valid despite being out of date, according to the Daily Star.
It's because they were printed before the competition was re-scheduled so fans should just ignore the dates.
Pieces which show a "play until" date of May 4, 2021, will still be valid until October 5, 2021.
The following new expiry dates also apply:
- Collect to win non-food prizes: Old date June 4, 2021, new date November 11, 2021
- Collect to win food prizes: Old date May 18, 2021, new date October 19, 2021
- Instant win non-food prize or discount: Old date June 4, 2021, new date November 5, 2021
- Instant win food or Just Eat vouchers: Old date May 18, 2021, new date October 19, 2021
- Instant win discount voucher (excluding Just Eat) old date, August 31, 2021 or earlier, new date January 31, 2022
- Online game: Old date May, 5, 2021, new date October 15, 2021
