When it comes to McDonald's, we all have our favourite menu items that we order time and time again.
Big Macs, chicken nuggets and McChicken Sandwiches are all firm favourites, and it's easy to see why.
But while many of us are stuck in our ways when it comes to Maccies, some people have been enjoying dishes we never even knew existed. JEALOUS.
A former employee has shared a glimpse at some of the secret treats Maccies workers like to make for themselves, using popular ingredients, reports the Mirror.
Some of the items were specific to McDonald's Australia, but others would definitely work here - and we wish we could try them.
The person claiming to have worked for the fast food company shared the secrets on Reddit, responding to someone asking about McDonald's cheeseburger seasoning in Australia.
The original post read: "So I live in the US and recently was watching a stream from Australia and saw the commercial for McDonald’s that included a new regional seasoning of cheeseburger seasoning salt for the fries.
"My friends and I are in desperate need of this seasoning. If I can find a truly patriotic Australian to do me the biggest favor of mailing me this seasoning, I would be truly grateful."
The former McDonald's employee replied to the post, explaining this item is known as Angus Fries.
They went on to reveal three other hidden menu items, writing: "As an ex Macca's funployee, here's a couple of hidden menu options.
"Angus Fries: Unsalted fries dusted with the Angus beef seasoning from the grill.
"Strawberry Sprite: Sprite post mix with four squirts/one shot of Strawberry Thickshake Syrup.
"Mega MAC: Same build as a big Mac, but made with quarter pounder meat and buns plus an extra slice of cheese on the heel.
"McMuffin Pizzas: Grilled muffin halves with sauce, 'premium' cheese, choice of toppings."
Next time I go to McDonald's after a few too many proseccos I will definitely be asking for a McMuffin pizza to eat with my chicken nugget sharebox, that's for sure.
