This week a fast food restaurant has had to issue a message to customers about a date mix up on a competition voucher.
McDonald's has been criticised by someone who found an out of date ticket in this years Monopoly promotion.
Taking to Twitter it was revealed that 'expired' tickets were in circulation and lovers of the burger venue were left confused and thinking they were not able to claim the prizes.
The familiar competition was launched late this year after being postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic but was able to start up fully last month with cash prizes, holidays and food up for grabs.

On social media platform Twitter a customer wrote: "@McDonaldsUK why is it that a sticker I just got on 1/9/21 expires on the 4/5/21 ?"
Another said: "My codes don’t scan on the mcds app though, it’s really confusing."
"Codes aren’t scanning, help!" said a third.
But there is an explanation as to why McDonald's is releasing tokens with the wrong dates.
The fast-food giant told customers the tickets are still valid despite being out of date, according to the Daily Star.
It's because they were printed before the competition was re-scheduled so fans should just ignore the dates.
Pieces which show a "play until" date of May 4, 2021, will still be valid until October 5, 2021.
The following new expiry dates also apply:
- Collect to win non-food prizes: Old date June 4, 2021, new date November 11, 2021
- Collect to win food prizes: Old date May 18, 2021, new date October 19, 2021
- Instant win non-food prize or discount: Old date June 4, 2021, new date November 5, 2021
- Instant win food or Just Eat vouchers: Old date May 18, 2021, new date October 19, 2021
- Instant win discount voucher (excluding Just Eat) old date, August 31, 2021 or earlier, new date January 31, 2022
- Online game: Old date May, 5, 2021, new date October 15, 2021
Lucky players could win up to £100,000 in cash, an Ibiza holiday, a hot tub or a £1,000 home entertainment voucher.
A McDonald's spokeswoman said: "Packaging and Game Pieces printed prior to rescheduling couldn’t be securely reprinted in time, so new dates apply – consumers must see the website or ask in restaurants to find details of all rescheduled enter-from/until dates and claim or redeem prizes-by dates."
