McDonald's customers are furious after popular items have been missing from the menu for two weeks amid a national shortage.
Chicken Selects have been unavailable for a fortnight now alongside a host of other items leaving fast food lovers distraught.
The Big Flavour Chicken Wrap and the Chicken Deluxe Burger are also temporarily unavailable to order.
Some customers have also reported being unable to order the Sweet Chilli Chicken wrap or the BBQ & Bacon Chicken wrap at their local restaurant too.
McDonald's previously said restaurants were having a "temporary shortage" as many ran out of Chicken Selects.
However, Scots fast food lovers are still complaining on social media that they can't get their hands on the popular menu item some two weeks later.
One wrote: "Why does no McDonalds in all of Scotland have any chicken selects"
Another commented: " @McDonaldsUK when you going to be getting chicken selects back in Scotland???? jokes over now get them in."
A third tweeted: "Sorry but this chicken selects shortage at McDonald’s is ruining my life."
Elsewhere, a fourth wrote: "McDonald's not having chicken selects should be against the law."
Chicken Selects were listed as 'temporarily unavailable' across numerous branches in Scotland.
The reason for the shortage is not known.
A McDonald's spokesperson said: “Unfortunately we have a temporary shortage of Chicken Selects and our restaurants may run out this week.
"We are working incredibly hard to get this popular menu item back on sale in our restaurants.
"We know some customers will be disappointed to hear this news, and we would like to apologise for the short term inconvenience.”
