McDonald's fans can tuck into new breakfast roll at Scots restaurants from tomorrow

A new addition to McDonald’s breakfast menu will be available to buy at Scots restaurants from tomorrow.

The new Breakfast Roll from the fast food giant is set to launch at branches following a successful trial in Ireland.

It contains back bacon, sausage patty, cheese and a free-range egg.

Punters will be able to get their hands on the morning treat for £2.79 from 5am until 11am every day.

The firm’s breakfast wrap will still remain off the menu after it was temporarily discontinued during lockdown earlier this year.

Three new burgers were added to McDonald’s menu earlier this month, including the spicy quarter pounder.

McDonald's launched three new quarter pounder varieties, alongside new cheesy nacho wedges and a salted caramel latte on October 7.

The spicy burger is described as "a mouth-watering 100% beef quarter pounder patty, with two slices of pepper jack cheese, onions, jalapenos, mustard and a spicy ketchup in a sesame seed bun".

A deluxe quarter pounder contains “shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, slice of cheese, pickles, fresh onions, cool mayo, ketchup, mustard, and streaky bacon all in a round sesame topped bun” in addition to a beef patty.

A new McChicken BLT has also launched as part of the limited edition menu that will run until November 17.
