McDonald's customers speechless after spotting hilarious staff note on their receipt

A man and his daughter were left 'crying with laughter' after they discovered a hilarious note written on their McDonald's receipt.

The family duo, from Norris Green in Liverpool, say they were at the Mcdonald's at Stonedale Retail Park on 22 December when it happened.

According to Liverpool Echo , the pair had ordered their food in the drive through, but were asked to go inside to collect it as the store was so busy - presumably as Christmas shoppers did their last-minute buying.

Emily, 18, explained: "They normally write your registration number on your receipt so they know which car to go to."

But when the duo went to the counter to collect their food, Emily claims they were asked "sheepishly" by the staff member, "do you want your receipt?"

Emily and her dad were then given their receipt, and were left laughing to discover that, instead of their car registration number, staff had written: "Silver (bald)." You've gotta laugh.

Speaking to the Echo, Emily said: "My dad looked at the receipt and laughed. Then he looked up and said 'you cheeky b**ger.' And the man just said 'they don't make my life easy do they."

Emily shared the story on Facebook, and it quickly went viral, racking up countless likes, shares and comments.

She said: "People have been recognising him since it happened.

"He went to an Everton match and the man next to him said his daughter recognised us both off Facebook.

"We still can't stop laughing now."
