McDonald's customers have been left disappointed after the fast food chain confirmed a UK shortage of Chicken Selects.
Hundreds of angry customers took to social media to moan about the shortage, after being unable to buy their favourite treat from the chain.
McDonald's confirmed the problem to the Liverpool ECHO and apologised to customers for the "short term inconvenience" saying they were working "incredibly hard" to get the item back on the menu.

But many fans took to Twitter to speak about their pain over the missing item.
AJ said: "Where’s my chicken selects bro."
Lauren. J said: "When will my 5 chicken selects meal with sweet chili sauce return from the war?"
Bekah said: "What’s the deal with the lack of chicken selects over the past few weeks, @McDonaldsUK? You’re truly ruining my life."
Victoria said: "Hun where are the chicken selects, they've been my biggest pregnancy craving and now I can't get any!"
Lucy said: "This whole McDonald’s running out of chicken selects situation is really starting to take a toll on my mental well-being tbh."
And Lorna said: "Why did no one tell me that McDonald’s have stopped doing chicken selects I am actually heartbroken that’s the only thing I order."
A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “Unfortunately we have a temporary shortage of Chicken Selects and they are not currently being served in most restaurants.
"We are working incredibly hard to get this popular menu item back on sale in our restaurants.
"We know some customers will be disappointed to hear this news, and we would like to apologise for the short term inconvenience.”
