McDonald's customer 'overwhelmed' after going through drive thru

A McDonald's customer said she was 'overwhelmed' after going through a drive thru.

The woman said she visited the fast food branch in The Rock Retail Park in Birkenhead at around 6pm on Wednesday.

However, when she went to pay for her food, the woman was left in shock when she realised the person in the car in front had already paid for the meal.

In shock, the woman described how the kind-hearted gesture 'restored' her 'faith' in this 'crazy world.'

The woman added it was a 'selfless act' and wanted to make sure she would pay it forward to help someone else.

Posting on Facebook, she said: "Not a crime, but an appreciation post.

"To the lovely lady in the McDonald's drive through at the rock at about 6pm, who paid for our order.

"You’ve restored my faith in this crazy world and for that I thank you.

"It was a selfless act that completely overwhelmed me and reminded me that it’s so nice to be nice.

"We paid it forward immediately and hopefully created a domino effect."

Her post received more than 100 reactions as people liked the positive news.
