McDonald's customer orders 'secret menu' item that's larger than the Grand Big Mac

A McDonald's fan left foodies speechless after he showed off an item he claims he ordered from the fast-food chain's "secret menu".

TikTok user @theglasssniper ordered what he referred to as a "Monster Mac" at a McDonald's drive-thru which appears to be in the US, in a video that has since been viewed 8.5 million times.

After paying for his order, which he said cost him $11 (£8), he winces, before making his way home to unwrap the beast, that's supposedly a whopping eight patties tall.

The TikTok user said: "They tried to fit this thing in an actual Big Mac pouch and it doesn’t fit."

Have you ever tried to order one of these? (TikTok / @theglasssniper)

Pulling the burger out of its giant box, he says: "This sucker is eight patties long, now it’s not as big as Wendy’s [another US fast-food brand] but it is also half the price."

As he reveals the burger to viewers, he points out: "Now, I will say this one is a lot cheesier than the other one."

Before he takes the first bite, he advises people to always eat a burger upside down, as: "The top bun is always the sturdier one."

"But I don't think it will make a difference with this sucker," he adds.

He then rates the burger a solid nine out of 10 and says: "This is way better than Wendy's. I applaud you McDonald's."

Since being posted, the video has gone down a treat with McDonald's fans who were eager to try the burger for themselves.

One person commented: "He did the Mac. He did the Monster Mac."

Another wrote: "Wow that would take me two days to finish."

"That burger exists??? I know I've heard stories of this legendary delight but never thought you could get one," said a third.

But a few people were sceptical as one person said: "No such sandwich. My daughter works there."

And another disappointed viewer put: "My local Mc D says there's no such item. Is there only certain ones that do this?"
