McDonald's customer offers to pay for stranger's meal – but instantly regrets it

A woman at a McDonald's drive-thru who decided she wanted to pay a random act of kindness forward instantly regretted it.

Vinisha, who is known as @vivalavinisha on TikTok, had plans to pay for the customer behind's order.

But when she found out how much their order came to, she was stunned, reports Daily Star.

The video which has been viewed more than 90,000 times on the social media platform had viewers in hysterics at her reaction to the price of the meal.

The clip sees Vinisha telling the cashier: "I’d like to pay for the person behind me, if possible."

The worker responds by telling her that the person behind had ordered $31.45 worth of food (£23.40).

Vinisha's voice falters, as she's clearly taken aback by how much the order came to.

But she continues: "Debit please?"

Once she's driven off, she tells the camera: "So I paid for the person behind me. I didn’t expect it to be $30 but that’s my random act of kindness for the day. I encourage you all to do it."

Since being posted, Vinisha's video has been flooded with comments from viewers who found her reaction to the price hilarious.

One said: "Your voice after hearing the total" adding a laughing emoji.

Another added: "After hearing the bill you questioned your decision."

Vinisha replied: "Haha honestly, but I wasn't going back on my decision!"

Others suggested she offer to pay for a homeless person's meal next time.
