McDonald's could extend breakfast menu hours until 11am in UK

McDonald's has delighted McMuffin lovers after revealing it could extend its breakfast hours until 11am after a pivotal trial.

Seven McDonald’s restaurants will be trialling extending breakfast service for six weeks from today (June 12).

If the trials in Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight are successful, the iconic fast food chain will then roll out the later end times nationwide, Mirror Online reports.

The current 10.30am breakfast deadline has been in place for nearly 25 years so it will be a massive change if it goes ahead.

But this would of course mean Big Mac fans will need to wait an extra half an hour to get their hands on their burger of choice.

If you order through McDelivery, customers currently have a 10:15am cut-off for breakfast orders, the extra 30 minutes means orders can be placed through Uber Eats until 10:45am in the test restaurants.

We've got the full list of restaurants below but many of you will be hoping the trial is successful and the changes will be extended to Bristol.

  • Commercial Road, Portsmouth
  • Isle of Wight
  • Cosham, Portsmouth
  • IoW – Brading Road
  • Ocean Retail Park, Portsmouth
  • Fratton Park, Portsmouth
  • North Harbour, Portsmouth
