McDonald's could be set to extend their breakfast hours in Dublin restaurants

Fast food chain McDonald's have launched a trial that could see their breakfast hours extended in their Dublin restaurants.

The news will come as music to the ears of fans of the chain's mouth-watering pancakes drenched in syrup and sausage and egg McMuffins.

At the moment the cut-off time for breakfast is 10:30am. This has been in place for almost 25 years.

But seven restaurants in the UK have launched a trial from today to extend breakfast until 11am.

If the trial is successful, McDonald's will officially extend its breakfast hours across the UK and Ireland, reports The Mirror.

The trial is running in five outlets in Portsmouth and two on the Isle of Wight.

Hangovers could get a whole lot easier if there's an extra half an hour to get to get a tasty breakfast in.
