McDonald's confirms it will extend breakfast hours in all UK restaurants from next week

If you've never found yourself feeling a little worse for wear and rushing to make it to McDonald's before 10.30am so you can grab breakfast, you haven't lived.

But for those of us who struggle to get out of bed in the morning, getting up and out there so early can feel almost impossible.

Thankfully, McDonald's has now announced that it will be permanently extending its breakfast hours in restaurants across the UK, so we'll all have some extra time to cram in those hash browns and McMuffins.

Earlier this year McDonald's ran a series of trials in selected restaurants across the UK, which saw breakfast serving hours extended from 10.30am to 11am.

The trials proved a success, and McDonald's has now decided to roll-out the 11am cut-off as a permanent fixture.

Michelle Graham-Clare, McDonald’s UK vice president food & marketing, said: "We all understand the pain of missing out on a McMuffin by a matter of minutes.

"We have listened to our customers’ pleas and are delighted to extend breakfast serving time until 11am, particularly as we head into the festive season when we see a rush of latecomers searching for those all-important hash browns."

The changes will come into place on Wednesday 20 November (next week), so shoppers don't have long to wait.

And, just to make things even easier, the cut off point to order at home on UberEats is 10.45am, so you don't need to leave the comfort of your home to sink your teeth into a McMuffin.
