A MCDONALD'S in Glasgow has banned unaccompanied under-16s from dining in the restaurant at night for "staff and customer safety".
McDonald's on Helen Street in Govan will now only offer a takeaway service to any customers under 16 who are not accompanied by an "appropriate adult" after 6pm.
They will also only allow two under-16s at a time to be served.

The sign reads: "To maintain a family environment withing this restaurant and for the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers, we have taken the difficult decision that all under 16s not accompanied by an appropriate adult after 6pm will be offered takeaway service only and a maximum of two at a time.
"Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers is our top priority."

McDonald's have been contacted for comment.
