So there may not be a lot of sun this week and yes there may be a weather warning in place, but that doesn't mean we still can't enjoy some summer food.
And as of today McDonald's have new additions joining the McSpicy which arrived on July 14, with a triumphant return for Mozzarella Dippers.
McDonald's are still in summer mode despite Scotland's cold weather as they launch a BBQ Quarter Pounder with Cheese made with 100% British & Irish beef.
It will also come with two slices of melted cheese, fresh onions, pickles and the delicious combination of ketchup, mustard and BBQ sauce.
Other items being added is a Double BBQ Quarter Pounder and some mouth-watering Garlic Cheese Bites - available in a single portion of five or a Sharebox.
In addition, they're also adding two new McFlurry flavours - Twix and Mars McFlurry which make their return to the menu. This comes just after the iconic McFlurry turned 21 this month having joined the UK menu in 2001.

Unfortunately this means that their Aero Chocolate and Aero Mint McFlurry will be leaving the menu - sorry.
Fans who want to try the new menu items will have to hurry though as they're limited-edition and won't be around for long though with the fast-food chain stating they will be available for just six weeks..
