McDonald’s adding 4 items to menus this week including return of mozzarella dippers

McDonald’s is adding four new limited edition items to its menu this week, including a BBQ bacon stack burger and Aero McFlurries.

The fast food chain is also bringing back its much-loved mozzarella dippers as part of a menu shake-up this Wednesday, June 16.

The new BBQ bacon stack is made with two beef patties, two slices of pepper jack cheese and bacon topped off with tomato, lettuce, onions and BBQ sauce.

It’ll cost £4.79 for a burger or £6.29 as part of a medium meal deal with a side and drink.

Meanwhile, Maccies addicts will be thrilled to know the Aero McFlurry is coming back after two years and will come in two flavours - chocolate and mint.

Depending on how hungry you are, they’ll be available in its standard size for £1.49 or a mini size for 99p.

These types of McFlurries are made with the usual smooth dairy ice cream, but they're swirled together with mint or chocolate Aero chunks and drizzled with peppermint or chocolate sauce.

The last new menu change is the return of mozzarella dippers, which are gooey cheese sticks coated in breadcrumbs.

Maccies fans will be able to tuck into a box of three for £1.89 or it’ll cost £5.09 for nine dippers.

Mozzarella dippers were last on the McDonald’s menu for a limited run in February this year.

The above items will be available in all of McDonald's 1,300 restaurants from this Wednesday for a limited six-week run.

But the changeover does mean other limited edition items are coming off the menu this week.

Tomorrow will be the last day to buy the bacon clubhouse double, cheese and herb melts, the chicken deluxe meal and the Galaxy chocolate McFlurry and the Galaxy caramel McFlurry.

McDonald's has reopened its restaurants for both dine-in and takeaway, or you can also order food for takeaway via Just Eat or Uber Eats.

Keep in mind you'll pay extra for delivery, with the fee usually depending on how far away you live from your nearest Maccies.

You can use the McDonald's restaurant finder to locate your nearest brand.
