Glasgow-based McCrea Financial Services has appointed Veronica Thomas and Chris Bain as independent financial advisers (IFA).
University of Dundee economics graduate Thomas moves from Portfolio and Pension Management, where she was an associate director and worked for more than eight years. She is a member of the Personal Finance Society and has 25 years of experience.
Bain was a managing director at Glasgow-based EIS Financial Services Ltd, where he spent 22 years having joined after studying at the London Institute of Banking and Finance. During his three years in charge, EIS reported record turnover and profit.
Thomas said: “I am absolutely delighted to join McCrea Financial Services. Prior to my appointment, industry colleagues had recommended McCreas as a forward-looking company, with a very strong support team and excellent leadership in place. In these early days I can see that’s very much the case.”
Bain said: “I’ve been hugely impressed with the professionalism which is a big part of the ethos at McCreas. The company’s reputation is excellent, and despite the welcome being via video conferencing, it’s been no less warm.”
