WASHINGTON _ Arizona Republican John McCain's mother, Roberta McCain, reached her 105th year on Tuesday.
The senator tweeted happy birthday to Mom on Tuesday morning with a video montage.
Roberta McCain was born Feb. 7, 1912, in Oklahoma. McCain's father John S. McCain Jr., died in 1981 from a heart attack while on a military aircraft from Europe with his wife by his side.
Besides Sen. McCain, she has two other children _ Joe McCain and Sandy McCain.
Roberta McCain has made a number of media appearances, especially when her son was running for president in 2012.
The senator is 81 years old.
