McArthurGlen in Bridgend: All the changes as the designer retail park reopens following coronavirus

Like many other shopping centres across Wales, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Bridgend will re-open to customers on Monday, June 22.

And, as expected, there will be changes in place following the coronavirus pandemic.

Firstly, shoppers will notice that the opening hours have been reduced and they can now visit the centre from  10am to 6pm on Mondays to Sundays .

While the majority of the shops will open on the first day, some will open later and the McArthurGlen website will be regularly updated with details.

As well as designer stores like Lacoste, Ted Baker and Hugo Boss, there are a number of restaurants and cafes, including Wagamama.

And while many of these outlets will reopen for refreshments, they will be offering takeaway services only.

Toilets, including baby changing facilities, will re-open, however, the children’s play area remains closed in accordance with government guidelines.

And the Odeon Cinema based on site will also remain closed until further notice.

A statement on the retail park's website reads: “We have been working closely with the local authorities and have implemented the Government recommended measures to ensure the safety and welfare of our customers, brand partners and employees."
