MUMBAI: The Mumbai Cricket Association's upcoming museum at the Wankhede Stadium is set to be named after the cricket body's former president Sharad Pawar.
The NCP supremo headed the MCA from 2001 to 2013, and was also the chief of the BCCI and the ICC in this period.
"The museum is a brainchild of Pawar. A final decision in this regard will be taken at the MCA's Emergent Apex Council meeting on Friday," a source told TOI.
Meanwhile, the MCA's Annual General Meeting will be held on March 19.
