Delhi: MBA graduate held for duping people in name of DDA flats

NEW DELHI: A 40-year-old man, an MBA graduate, was arrested for selling residential flats in the name of cooperative group housing societies (CGHS) on DDA-allotted land in Dwarka.

Police said that the accused, along with an ex-official of DDA, allegedly cheated 12 people of Rs 2.6 crore.

The accused, Vikram Sarin, was arrested on Tuesday from west Delhi’s Janakpuri.

According to police, they received a complaint from Deshraj Yadav and 10 other people against a company named Iramya Developers Pvt Ltd and its directors. Additional commissioner of police (EOW) RK Singh said complainants told them that the accused induced them, by way of false representation, that a parcel of land was allotted by DDA to status CGHS at Dwarka.
