Mayo GAA wish Galway luck ahead of All-Ireland final

Mayo have sent their well wishes to Galway ahead of their All-Ireland final on Sunday.

The two sides met earlier this season in the Connacht Football Championship where Galway beat Mayo.

And the Tribesmen will compete in their first All-Ireland final since 2001 when they take on Kerry this Sunday.

And Mayo took to social media to wish good luck.

They said: "Lots of Mayo/Galway connections rekindled ahead of Sundays Final, none closer than Anthony & Rob Finnerty. Moygownaghs Anthony played with Mayo in the 89 Final v Cork & goaled 10min. into 2nd half. His son Rob lines out with @Galway_GAA this weekend. Best of luck neighbours"

Throw in for Sunday's game is at 3.30 pm with the game a complete sell out in Croke Park.

A win would be the first victory for Galway since 2001 while Kerry are looking to win their first title since 2014.
