A doorman for a private party at a £12.5 million Mayfair home was stabbed to death by a group of men who were refused entry, the Old Bailey heard.
Tudor Simionov, 33, was a bouncer at the home in 80 Park Lane when he was stabbed once in the chest in the early hours of New Years Day.
It is said he was murdered during a six-minute outburst of violence, when four other bouncers and a waitress at the event also suffered knife wounds.
Nor Hamada, 24, Haroon Akram, 26, and Adham Khalil, 20, are on trial accused of murdering Mr Simionov, as well as stabbing the five who were wounded.
Prosecutor Philip Evans QC said a fourth man, Ossama Hamed, is believed to have inflicted the knife wound to Mr Simionov but is not on trial as he has fled the UK.
Mr Evans added: “Tudor Simionov and a number of others had been employed to assist with the maintaining of security. At about 5.30am, a group of males tried to gain entry to that party. They were refused.
“A violent confrontation ensued between some of these males and the door staff. Tudor Simionov received a fatal stab wound to his chest.”
Atu Ngoy, Kamil Okpara, Hassum Ali, Mark McKinley and a waitress, Yang Qiu, are all said to have been stabbed in the incident.
Mr Evans said witnesses filmed the violence on their mobile phones, while CCTV in the area will also be shown.
He told the jury: “They acted together and shared an intention as to what should ultimately happen. Consequently, they are equally responsible for what happened.”
Hamada, from Wembley, Akram, of no fixed address, and Khalil, from Kingsbury, deny murder and five charges of wounding with intent. The trial continues.
