'Maybe they think they're good?' Hull fans deliver Nottingham Forest verdict

Hull City fans were not all magnanimous in defeat following their team's Boxing Day disappointment against Nottingham Forest.

Forest triumphed 2-0 at the KCOM Stadium to end a run of five matches without a win.

Lewis Grabban got both of the Reds' goals - converting an early penalty before sealing the points with a fine solo effort late on.

The result leaves Sabri Lamouchi's men just outside the Sky Bet Championship play-off zone.

Hull, meanwhile, are four points further back in 13th place.

Here's what some of their supporters had to say on Twitter following the game...

Mark: Rollercoaster club. It's in our DNA. What do we never ever do? The obvious, predicted or expected. What's new? Next!

Adam Brookes: Woeful. Nobody turned up. Not much else to say.

Aleksander: Of course you lose on my birthday.

Alex: Unlucky boys, we go again.

Anna Marshall: Very poor performance.

Kieran Marshall: Mate we (Hull) were shocking, you (Forest) weren’t much better but enough to deserve the victory.

Matthew Simpson: That really sucks.

Tiger boy: How annoying.

Redders: Terrible game. If Jackson (Irvine) can score from 2 yards we would be ok.

Charlie Bell: “We didn’t play well” I mean there is not playing well and then there is doing what we did. We were dreadful with no one who even looked good out there.

Bill Robins: Inconsistency as usual.

Rick: Massively disappointing yesterday. Keep talking about inability to string wins together but it's going to cost #hcafc all season. Wouldn't mind if just outclassed but opposition weren't much cop. Their fans will cry about that but never mind. Maybe they think they're good?

Paul Blanshard: Very disappointing display from City. Forest got in their faces and we were poor from back to front, shame in front of a decent crowd.

Ant Northgraves: Disappointing to not be able to take advantage of #NFFC poor form and make up ground on the top 6. Oh the life of a #HCAFC fan.
