'Maybe Forest fans were right?' - QPR supporters have their say on heavy defeat

As Nottingham Forest romped to a third win in four last night, Queens Park Rangers were slipping down the table with a sixth game without victory.

Mark Warburton’s men are now 16th in the table and in need of a boost in confidence ahead of Saturday’s trip to Derby County.

Tobias Figueiredo headed the Reds in front and Lewis Grabban effectively made the game safe with nine minutes to go.

The Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium emptied at a quick pace after that Grabban goal, and was almost empty by full-time with Joao Carvalho and Alfa Semedo making it 4-0.

Here’s what the QPR fans had to say...

@HRHJaffeJoffer: Maybe Forest fans were right? I’m very concerned about us defensively and there’s no improvement or certainly no plan B. Add in Malker, Smith, Wallace, Kelly, Kane who have been disappointing signing to date.

@MRRyan37: Let’s take a reality check. IMO, with this squad, we are a mid/below mid table team. With a decent GK, Centre Half & a sitting midfielder, we could/would be Top 10.

@BillyMaguire7: This slump of form we’re on is just the nature of this Championship just need to ride it out.

@DarrenTruswell: When Rangers and Forest fans said that Warburton had no plan B, are we now seeing evidence of this?

@steveallen82: We only performed for 25 mins last night and that was when we went down to 10 men, first half and last 10 mins was poor. I am all for trying to play out but you need a goalkeeper and defenders who are comfortable to play that way, we don’t have that at the moment.

@clacka57: That was desperate stuff last night #QPR and a tough watch but some of the comments aimed at individual @QPR players from so called fans - both online and in the ground - make me despair. Had thought we were better people than that.

@GRDHoops: It was inevitable we'd struggle in this league v the teams with better squads like Forest. Absolutely have to sort this defence out & more importantly, find some leadership in that team, we've been lacking this really since Clint Hill left to be honest.

@DazzaCumber: Nothing a decent keeper, two defenders and a solid formation won’t sort out.
