Maya Jama says she'd 'love to be a Bond girl' during All Round To Mrs Brown's

Maya Jama has said she hopes to one day appear one the silver screen in one of the country’s most-loved film franchises.

The Radio 1 presenter from Bristol appeared on the hit BBC One show All Round To Mrs Brown's with her mum, Sadie, on Saturday night.

While appearing on the show Maya, 25, revealed her ambition of one day play the love interest in a James Bond film, reports the Daily Star.

The Bristolian said: "One day, I'd love to be a Bond girl.

"That would be a dream I think most people have."

Soon after, Brendan quipped: "I think you'd be a bit too old now," before Maya quickly hit back with: "I'm probably a bit past it now."

The TV and radio star also revealed that one day she hoped to have her own chat show, like the Dublin mammy.

Unexpectedly Mrs Brown offered Maya to take to the famous armchair, which clearly delighted the star who looked shocked as she exclaimed: "can I actually?" before asking "where it all began?"

Mrs Brown, played by Brendan O'Carroll, was also left speechless when Maya's mum Sadie walked out onto the stage during the show.

Shocked by Sadie's youthful looks, Mrs Brown exclaimed: "Were you seven when you gave birth to her?

"God, you're so... My God you're so... You could be twins - honest to God."

All Round To Mrs Brown's airs Saturday nights at 9.15pm on BBC One.
