On Saturday, it was announced that those returning from the country must quarantine for 14 days.
Many are due back early next week and the development could have series issues with many due back at work within days.
The controversial decision - slammed by airlines - is non-negotiable and the government is refusing to apologise for it.
Michelle Keegan and husband Mark Wright are also away - the couple enjoying some time away in Marbella and Ibiza.
They have been sharing pictures of their trip online but they will not be allowed to leave the house for a fortnight when they touch down.

The government department's official website says the decision was made after assessing the coronavirus risks in the country.
But one star not in trouble is Gemma Collins.
She joked that she 'called it' after Brits returning from Spain have been ordered to isolate.
The diva had planned to party with her pals in Marbella - but she called off her trip late on after developments.
The Foreign Office website says: "From 26 July, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) advises against all non-essential travel to mainland Spain based on the current assessment of Covid-19 risks.
"Only the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and La Graciosa) and Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera) are exempt from the FCO advice against all non-essential international travel.
"This advice is based on evidence of increases in cases of Covid-19 in several regions, but particularly in Aragon, Navarra and Catalonia (which include the cities of Zaragoza, Pamplona and Barcelona).
"The FCO is not advising those already travelling in Spain to leave at this time."
