Rumours that Bristol's Maya Jama may be engaged have surfaced after a now-deleted Instagram post appeared to accidentally make the announcement.
A picture of Maya's boyfriend, Australian basketball star Ben Simmons, being given a tattoo was recently uploaded to the social media page of an American tattoo artist.
And the caption on the picture appeared to let slip that the couple are now engaged to be married.

Philly Joe 215 Tattoo Studio, whose studio is on Bristol Road in Pennsylvania, in the US, wrote on Instagram: "Honoured and humbled to have gotten this opportunity to tattoo my boy @bensimmons and his his fiance and her friend from the UK LONDON AWESOME FOLKS GOOD TIME AND A GREAT DINNER THANKS TO YOUR CHIEF!"
Neither Maya Jama or Ben Simmons has officially confirmed the engagement, and the Instagram post has now been deleted.

However, screenshots of the post have surfaced online from fans of the couple, and people have been quick to speculate.
Twitter user PaUlPoZ5 wrote: "Congrats to the newly engaged Ben Simmons and his fiancé Maya Jama".
And BenSimmons_zone, wrote: "It's official, Ben Simmons and Maya Jama are engaged. HE STILL WINNING".
Maya Jama was born and raised in Bristol, before she moved to London at 17 to pursue her media career, and she is now the host of ITV's musical game show Walk The Line.

She has been dating Simmons, who plays in the American NBA, since the summer of 2021.
Maya Jama's management team were approached for comment.
