Maya Jama confirms Love Island return to stir things up in villa as ITV 'secret' made public

Maya Jama shared a big 'secret' on Sunday night, with the news she is heading back to Love Island this week to 'stir' things up in the villa, as fans can't get enough of the drama and tension the new series has brought so far.

Since taking over from Laura Whitmore as host for Winter Love Island at the start of this year, Maya has proved to be a huge hit with ITV2 viewers, with them willing to see more of her on screen. Well, their wish is about to be granted as, speaking right at the end of Sunday night's edition of spin-off show Aftersun, Maya confirmed she was on her way back to Mallorca.

Love Island fans haven't seen to much of her at all so far since the show returned a few weeks ago and are now speculating what trouble her impending return to the villa could bring. As soon as she revealed she was jetting off in the next few days, Twitter was awash with reactions, with one viewer posting: "Maya is going back to Mallorca…s**s about to go down now. As she said “I’m here to stir things up”

Equally excited about Maya's promise to shake things up a bit, another fan tweeted: "Maya flying back out to the villa gonna be another dumping from a fan vote let’s get sammy out," with a third commenting: "Maya back to the villa gonna be another dumping."

Another fan shared a 'chaos' meme as they predicted Maya's return could only be bad news for the Islanders, with Maya giving Love Island viewers an exclusive before revealing her big news, as she played a clip of Sammy accusing Jess of 'playing games', due to a conversation she's had with Mitch.
