High temperatures have been reported across much of northern Europe, as people across the UK enjoyed the warmest May Day bank holiday to date.
On Monday, a temperature of 24.2C was recorded in the UK, the Met Office said, beating the previous record for an early May bank holiday of 23.6C in 1999.
Many flocked to the parks and beaches to enjoy the sunny weather, and in some cases to cool off.
Not all of Europe is enjoying the warm weather, however. A very intense system which brought flash flooding to Turkey is bringing thunderstorms to the southeast.
Northern Italy and southern France are also seeing some heavy downpours.
