Those planning to do some home improvements on the bank holiday Monday (April 3) will likely need to head into their local home or garden store for supplies.
Thankfully, most major DIY stores will be opening their doors on May Day - but it's best to check timings before you head out.

There are currently more than 230 Wickes stores across the UK.
Wickes stores are set to be open on the bank holiday Monday, but there is a limit on how customers are allowed in-store at one time due to the coronavirus pandemic.

- Sunday May 2 - most stores will be open from 7am to 8pm.

All B&Q stores across England have now reopened following the easing of restrictions.
On bank holiday Monday, opening times may vary from store to store, so be sure to check the B&Q website for specific timings.
- Saturday May 1 -most stores will be open between 8am and 8pm.
- Sunday May 2 -most stores will be open between 10am and 4pm.
- Monday May 3 - most stores will be open between 8am and 8pm.
