The first of the May bank holidays is here, and we couldn’t be more excited. Now we can welcome over six friends or family members, this weekend is set to be a good one.
If you’ve forgotten that this weekend is in fact a bank holiday, and your fridge is looking a little empty, fear not as all major supermarkets will be open this weekend and on Monday - just with slightly reduced trading hours.
So if you need some picnic nibbles, ice for those all important bevvies or just some BBQ meats - your favourite supermarket will be open for everything you need.

Morrisons Bank Holiday opening hours:
- Saturday May 1st - normal opening hours for all UK stores
- Sunday May 2nd - normal opening hours for all UK stores
- On Monday May 3rd, all stores in the UK will be open as normal between 7am and 8pm.
