The four-day early May bank holiday weekend is very nearly here, and most of us are looking forward to some time off.
However most supermarkets will adjust their hours or close completely on Monday, and no one wants to be caught out with bare cupboards.
Last minute shoppers will therefore be flocking to stores over the weekend to make sure they are fully stocked for the entire weekend.
So to make sure you're not left without on May 6, we've put together a guide of the opening hours of the UK's most popular supermarkets this bank holiday weekend.
Tesco opening hours
Bank Holiday Monday (May 6th)
• Stores in England and Wales will be open from 9am - 6pm
• All Express stores will be open usual hours.
• Tesco Extras and Superstores in Northern Ireland are open from 10am - 7pm.
• Tesco Extras and Superstores in London are open from 8am to 8pm.
• Tesco Extra stores in Scotland are open as normal. Selected Superstores open 8am - 8pm.
• Tesco Metro stores open 9am - 6pm.

Sainsbury's opening hours
The supermarket chain says that all of its stores will be open over the May bank holiday, but opening times vary by location.

Store opening times vary from region to region over the weekend.

Aldi opening hours
A spokesperson for the store confirmed that on Saturday, May 4 stores open from 8am-10pm and on Sunday, May 5 this will be 10am-4pm.
Stores will will be open from 8am until 8pm on Monday, May 6. Visit the chain's store finder to check your local store.
Lidl opening hours
Store opening hours will vary by location. Lidl recommends that customers check their local store here.
Waitrose opening hours
A spokesperson confirmed that Waitrose shops will trade during normal hours on Saturday and Sunday.
On bank holiday Monday, the majority of Waitrose supermarkets will be open from 9am-6pm, with some opening from 8am-8pm and a few opening from 10am-4pm.
All Shell and Welcome Break stores will trade as usual.
