Max Kellerman’s Kawhi Leonard take has Jay Williams and Stephen A. Smith reeling

What is a take that is so out there that it would make Jay Williams walk away from the table at the center of ESPN’s First Take set?

Here it is.

While discussing Norman Powell’s quotes about his Toronto Raptors teammate Kawhi Leonard, who said “that man is Kobe (Bryant),” Molly Qerim asked Max Kellerman if Leonard is a better player under pressure than Bryant.

Kellerman said he was. And that made Smith role his eyes SO HARD. Then, when he backed up his statistically-based argument and concluded that Leonard, “under pressure” was better than Kobe, Williams jumped in by walking away for a moment.

And later, Williams completely walked off:

Yet Kellerman stuck to his argument about how clutch Leonard was, moreso than KOBE BRYANT?! I’m with Williams and Smith here. There’s no denying Leonard is already developing into one of the best two-way players ever to lace ’em up and there’s still a chance he leads Toronto to a title. But Bryant is on an entirely other level, under pressure or otherwise.
