Max George has thrilled The Wanted fans by admitting he'd reunite with the boyband immediately if he got the call.
The singer and and his bandmates Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes stormed the charts with their debut single All Time Low in 2010 and amassed an army of fans.
The singer, 32, has gone on to forge a successful acting career as well bagging his own radio show and competing on Strictly Come Dancing.
However, speaking exclusively to the Mirror, Max revealed he’d jump at the chance to get the group back together given the opportunity.
“Nothing is happening yet, but I’ve never hidden behind the fact that I would love to do it,“ he told us.
“If the boys pick the phone up tomorrow and said ‘Do you want to go on tour again? I’d be in'.
“I have spoken to Tom a little bit about it over the years so I’m pretty sure he’d be up for it tomorrow if you asked him."
In October last year, 32-year old singer Tom Parker shared the heartbreaking news that he had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour.
However, the star continues to surprise doctors with his progress after his tumour "significantly decreased" in size and he recently celebrated his third wedding anniversary with his wife Kelsey.
Max was one of the guests on the couple's special day and shared a sweet tribute saying: "From that night when we lived at the Marriott… there was only ever one ending… happy anniversary guys. Love you all loads."
As well as hoping for the band to reunite, Max is due to release more of his solo music later this year and says he has “lots of songs hidden away”, which may make an appearance on his new radio show.
The star is joining Hits Radio to host a new evening show called Friday Night Hits, which he hopes will “kickstart people’s weekends”.
He told us: “I’m buzzing to be doing Friday nights. “I’ve always enjoyed radio tours and interacting with different DJs. I love being in the booth and having my own show and getting people hyped for the weekend."
Max hopes to bring on some stellar celebs to the show, including “good friend” and Get Ugly singer Jason Derulo, some of his old bandmates and hopefully “one of the One Direction boys as well”.
As well as his music the singer has forged a successful acting career including making his debut appearance in the sixth season of American musical series Glee in which he played the role of Clint, a leader of Vocal Adrenaline.
Max also shot his first movie Me, Myself and Di last year and says he "absolutely loves" being an actor.
“I feel really comfortable on stage," he said. "The beauty of acting is you can be the person you want to be in real life but wouldn't be able to get away [with being]. You can really show the real you.”
When asked what his dream role would be Max looked to Oscar winning actor Joaquin Phoenix for inspiration.
“I love the role of [Joaquin Phoenix's] the Joker, it's really out there... dark and a bit twisted," he teased.
“I really do love acting, singing and being on radio, they're my three favourite things and I get to do them all - I'm very lucky."
