In-demand Max Allegri confirms he's learning English, amid rumours he could be the next Manchester United manager.
The Italian won four league titles with Juventus and reached the Champions League final twice but left the Bianconeri at the end of last season.
The former AC Milan boss confirmed he was keen to take a year out of the game, and he's been touted as a possible replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.
This week though there were rumours he'd met with Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo but the 52-year-old insists no talks have taken place with the Ligue 1 leaders.
Allegri told AFP: "There's nothing with PSG, it would be a lack of respect for others to be here to talk with Leonardo.
"I'm in Paris, a magnificent city, to present my book and in particular my stories, my experiences.
"I still don't know anything about my future.
"I need to come back in September, if I get too used to being on holiday I won't work anymore. That's why I need to restart."
While the Italian didn't give any concrete updates on his future, he did confirm that he's been learning English in his time off - perhaps hinting at a future in the Premier League.
He said: "I'm learning it for personal culture, because when I go abroad I can't communicate."
Most bookmakers have Allegri at second favourite to take over at Manchester United, behind former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Allegri can boast six Serie A titles and four Coppe Italia, and he was inducted into the Italian football Hall of Fame in 2018.
