Maurizio Sarri reveals Chelsea's plan if "disaster" strikes and Eden Hazard left

Maurizio Sarri admits it would be a "disaster" if Eden Hazard were to leave Chelsea for Real Madrid in the summer, and says the Blues wouldn't be able to find a like-for-like replacement if he did.

Hazard scored twice in a virtuoso display in Monday night's 2-0 victory over West Ham at Stamford Bridge, where visiting fans could be heard signing "he's off to Madrid" throughout the game.

The Belgian denied that claim at full-time, but rumours surrounding his possible switch to the Bernabeu are only growing stronger as we head towards the summer.

And Sarri says that while he hopes that doesn't happen, there has to be a plan in place if it does.

"I hope that it is not true (and he's leaving)," the Italian told BBC Radio Five Live after the game. "Every coach wants to keep a player like him.

"It's a disaster when a player like Eden decides to change team. It's very difficult to find another player at the same level because in the world there are only two or three players at the same level.
