Former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has recalled how he and his players cried together after his last match in charge.
Sarri was only at Stamford Bridge for one season, but in that time led the Blues to Europa League glory and the League Cup final.
While in the Premier League, the former Napoli boss helped Chelsea to a top four finish, despite an inconsistent campaign.
And although it appeared that Sarri had a difficult relationship with some of the club’s players last season, he has now revealed how tears were shed after his last game in charge.
“At Chelsea, I had a confrontational relationship with the dressing room for the first six months but eventually the human relationship comes out and after the Europa League final we all cried together,” he said via the Mirror.
"I am not someone who gives pats on the back. I talk a lot about their mistakes and little about what is done well.
"At the start it can be difficult but then they recognise it is honest and they learn to appreciate who you are.”

"I would never live there, I don't understand how the Italians who are there do it .
"But football is another matter. I miss the Premier League. It is fantastic.”
Before adding on life at Juventus "I've been struck by the love and the hate that exists towards this team from the public.
"It's something you realise only when you enter the world of the bianconeri."
