Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri admits that Aaron Ramsey hasn't found things easy during his injury-hit time in Italy.
The Welshman was already suffering from a thigh problem when he arrived at the Serie A giants, having limped out of what proved to be his final game for Arsenal in April.
Ramsey has since suffered from four separate injury issues since arriving in Turin, limiting him to just 19 appearances for Sarri's side.
He did appear to be returning to form and full fitness when he scored twice in Wales' 2-0 victory over Hungary in November that confirmed their qualification for the Euro 2020 finals.
But he has made just four starts for his club since then, failing to complete the full 90 minutes in any of them while also making a further seven substitute appearances.
His lack of a sustained impact has led to suggestions that he could make a return to the Premier League in the summer, with former club Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea all tentatively linked with a move for the 29-year-old.
Speaking at a press conference before Thursday's Coppa Italia clash with AC Milan, Sarri said Ramsey has found it tough.
"Aaron Ramsey is growing both as a condition and a belief," said Sarri.
"It was not easy for him to adapt, coming from the Premier and from a bad injury."
Juventus are now off the top of the Serie A table having lost at Verona on Saturday, leading to suggestions that Sarri was coming under pressure
The former Chelsea boss insists that a dinner with club chief Andrea Agnelli not connected to his job though.
"We were supposed to have dinner after the Fiorentina game, I was at Coverciano, and the President had commitments and so it was arranged for later," he continued.
"We had a normal dinner, however it was planned."
