Mauricio Pochettino has decided he wants out of Tottenham Hotspur - and has set his sights on the Manchester United job.
The Spurs boss believes the time has come to seek a new challenge and a switch to Old Trafford is at the forefront of his mind.
Current United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a man under pressure following the club's worst start to a season in 30 years.
As revealed on The Transfer Window Podcast , United are reviewing Solskjaer's position on a game-by-game basis and that could open the door for the Argentine if results do not improve.
Ian McGarry was joined by Duncan Castles on the latest episode to make a startling revelation over Pochettino's Premier League future, with the 47-year-old enduring a poor opening to the campaign of his own in North London.
Duncan said: "The information I have from someone close to Pochettino is he has very much targeted a new job.
"In his head, he has made the decision he will be moving on from Tottenham Hotspur .
"I think it's dependent on how that finishes for him there, whether he sees out the season out or not.
"But he sees that he has run his course at Tottenham and is looking to move to a new club.
"And the club I'm told he is targeting at his next job is Manchester United."
