Mauricio Pochettino was coy on his future when asked about his next career move amid Manchester United's reported interest in him.
The former Tottenham manager has been out of work since being sacked by Spurs, but has not been short of suitors in this time.
He was most recently linked with the Barcelona job, which has now been filled, and is perpetually talked about in regards to the top position at Manchester United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's position is believed to be safe, and Red Devils chiefs have no current plans to sack the Norwegian.
But should Solskjaer miss out on qualifying for the Champions League, which is considered a bare minimum this season, his job could be under threat.
According to The Independent, certain United board members still consider Pochettino to be the right man for the club ultimately, and would like to replace Solskjaer with him at the end of the season.
Pochettino was asked about his future at the official launch of the LaLigaTV event in London.
At first he joked he didn't understand the question, before saying: "For me I was so lucky to start my career as a manager at Espanyol in Barcelona and then to come to the Premier League to learn a different language and culture and I am a better person today.
"I have more knowledge and had a great experience. The Premier League is the Premier League. Football was born here in England but I think La Liga has amazing football and amazing coaches.
"Coaches like Gustavo [Poyet] and myself, we try and be in the best place. England and Spain are the two best leagues in the world.
He added:"Barcelona, of course, are one of the greatest teams in the world. Of course now with the new manager everyone is expecting him to continue the same philosophy.
"Valverde did a fantastic job in La Liga and with Barcelona and it's a massive challenge for Quique Setien. He showed unbelievable love for [Johan] Cruyff and the style of football of Barcelona.
"I think it's a great opportunity for him to live his dream and it's so amazing to follow what's going to happen."
