Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that Tottenham fans can not place too much expectation on the shoulders of the club's new summer signings.
Spurs supporters have been calling to see more of club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele, who has endured a stop-start season so far.
The Frenchman has made an appearance in eight of Tottenham's first 10 Premier League matches, starting five times.
However, as Pochettino seeks to rebuild his squad, with his so much uncertainty over the future of Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Veronghen, Ndombele is seen as a potential successor to the Dane playmaker by the Spurs' fans.
Similarly, Giovani lo Celso has struggled for minutes and given Dele Alli's current lack of form, supporters have been asking to see more of the Argentinian midfielder.
However, Pochettino has stressed that Tottenham supporters must remain patient as he is keen not place too much responsibility on their shoulders.
"It's important not to put too much responsibility on the new signings," Pochettino told Sky Sports.
"They have come to give the team certain qualities, but of course we also understand that they are young players who have to adapt, and who, in Lo Celso and Ndombele's cases, have come from abroad, from different leagues. The priority is adaption more than performance.
"There's a lot of pressure for them but there are a lot of examples of young players, like Son and like many others, who have needed a season or a season-and-a-half in order to perform at the level that we want. These three players are not going to be the exceptions. They are not that."
Fellow summer recruit Ryan Sessegnon is yet to make his debut for the club after struggling with injury after his move from Fulham.
With the future of Danny Rose also in doubt, the Englishman is also viewed by supporters as part of the new revolution and the club's new long-term left-back.
