Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham career in pictures: The Argentine's greatest moments as Spurs boss

Mauricio Pochettino’s time at Tottenham has drawn to a close with Jose Mourinho set to begin a new chapter of his career in north London.

Pochettino, appointed in May 2014, failed to win a single trophy during his time in charge in north London but transformed Spurs into Premier League title challengers and leaves with a proud legacy intact.

The Argentine became the first manager to beat Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola in England when his Spurs side came out on top in October 2016.

He silenced Arsenal fans in April 2017, when a 2-0 win in the final north London derby at White Hart Lane guaranteed Spurs would finish above the Gunners for the first time in 22 years.

The former Espanyol also oversaw some thrilling nights in Europe, recording victories over Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid as the club established themselves as a force on the continent once again.

That culminated in last season’s run to the Champions League final, where Spurs recorded quarter-final and semi-final victories over Man City and Ajax on two of the most memorable nights in club history.
