Mauricio Pochettino admits that Giovani Lo Celso and Jan Vertonghen could be involved for Tottenham against Manchester City this weekend.
Spurs travel to the Etihad Stadium to face the champions tomorrow (Saturday), with Tottenham looking to build on a 3-1 win against Aston Villa in their opening game of the new Premier League season last weekend.
But Pochettino has a few decisions to make when it comes to his team selection for the game, with several players ruled out due to injury and suspension, including Dele Alli, Ryan Sessegnon, Heung-min Son and Juan Foyth.
Alli and Sessegnon are currently continuing rehabilitation on injuries, while Son and Foyth are both suspended for the game, with the Argentinian defender also currently injured.
But another summer signing, Giovani Lo Celso, could be in line to feature against City, with Pochettino confirming at his pre-match press conference that while he won't start, he could be in the matchday squad.
"We'll see. A lot of things happen around him in his life," Pochettino said of the Argentine, who joined on loan from Real Betis on transfer deadline day.
"He had no pre-season and has to come in and adapt. Starting in the 11, I can tell you no. Involved tomorrow? We will see."
Meanwhile, Pochettino confirmed that Jan Vertonghen is fit to play against Manchester City, having not been involved against Aston Villa last weekend.
His absence from the matchday squad came as a surprise to many fans, with the Belgian defender not suffering with an injury, but Pochettino says he is in contention to feature tomorrow.
"We'll see. We still have one training session more. He's fit and of course it's my decision if he's playing or not," Pochettino said.
