Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says his side will look to be aggressive from the outset in their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Manchester City on Tuesday night.
City have won their last three games against Spurs - including a Premier League double last season - and Pochettino feels his team will have to match City's assertiveness from the off at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium to reverse their form against Pep Guardiola's side.
Pep Guardiola's side are on course for an unprecedented quadruple of trophies this season after booking their place in the FA Cup final against Watford with a 1-0 victory over Brighton on Saturday, and Pochettino is wary of the threats that the Blues will pose.
"I think its going to be a very tough game," the Argentine coach said on Monday.
"City are one of the best teams in Europe, and in England. We’ll start the game very aggressively. We want to be aggressive. We know that very well.

"We’ve prepared for the games. We’ve been talking about the different situations that can happen from beginning. We want to start with a high tempo."
City's trip to north London will mark the first Champions League game to be played at Spurs' new stadium, and Pochettino hopes the club's new ground will generate an intimidating atmosphere.
"We cannot guess the atmosphere," he explained. "It’s our second game there.
"The first in Champions League, which is different to the Premier League.
"We hope and wish that the atmosphere is going to be amazing and tough for our opposition.”
