Tottenham are gearing up for their first Champions League match of the season.
The Spurs squad travelled to Athens on Tuesday for the group stage game against Olympiacos on Wednesday and there were some notable absentees.
As is often the case with European away games, Tottenham posted a video of their squad boarding the plane at Stansted Airport for the trip to Greece and a number of players were not spotted.
And Pochettino has confirmed that he has left two players back in London - Serge Aurier and Danny Rose.
That would leave Kyle Walker-Peters and Ben Davies as the only recognised full-backs in the squad, with Ryan Sessegnon unfit to travel either.
Rose has played every Premier League game so far this season and could be due for a rest, while Aurier has only just come back into the side, starring during the 4-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Ben Davies was also missing from the video of players boarding the plane, leading to speculation that Jan Vertonghen could be moved to left-back, but the Welshman has made the trip to the Greek capital.
Davinson Sanchez has recovered from injury and made the trip, as has Tanguy Ndombele, who was a second half substitute against Palace after his injury.
Speaking about Wednesday's game, Pochettino said: "It’s so early to start talking about the final. The most important thing is to talk about our squad quality.
"I don’t care if because we reached the final people think we are a contender again. It’s only to try to be focused tomorrow on trying to win and starting in a good way."
