Mauricio Pochettino admits that his personal aim is to win a trophy with Tottenham this season, although he insists he is not putting any pressure on the team.
The Argentinian is preparing to embark on his sixth season at Tottenham, with Spurs looking to go one better this season after reaching the Champions League final last season, only to lose to Liverpool in Madrid.
And Pochettino believes that now his aim has to be to try and lift a trophy with the Lilywhites, having come so close last season, with the Spurs boss referencing someone very close to him in his quest for success in north London.
"A good season for us? My personal feeling is that starting my sixth season is to lift a trophy, Carabao Cup, FA Cup, Premier League or Champions League," he said.
"I am not saying it is time. I don’t want to put pressure on the team or the club.

"But if you ask me personally, this season for me, to be successful, is not about finishing in the top four– of course for the club that is important and a success. But for me, it is about winning some title – the Carabao Cup, the FA Cup, the Premier League or the Champions League."
And he said the experience of the final in Madrid has given him the taste to go one better this time around.
"You are there but you cannot touch the glory. My personal target, objective, an aim to be successful this season is to lift some trophy," he said.
"Of course, after the final in Madrid, I was talking to Jesus [Perez] and saying, ‘We need to prepare ourselves to be ready to play to try to have more influence’."
