Paris-Saint Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino may be renewing his rivalries with Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp sooner than expected.
The former Tottenham manager is heavily linked with the vacant managerial role at Manchester United after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Sunday.
Argentine Pochettino is reportedly in a return to the Premier League and taking the reins at Old Trafford after struggling with the many huge personalities in the PSG dressing room.
Liverpool were the opponents in Pochettino’s biggest game of his managerial career so far in the 2019 Champions League final.

The Reds made it six European crowns in Madrid after beating Tottenham 2-0 in a game that broke the heart of the Argentinian.
If Pochettino was to take charge of United, his record against the Reds would be expected to improve as he has just three wins to his name in 16 matches.
In October 2017, Spurs humbled Liverpool 4-1 at Wembley - a game that was the catalyst for a change in Liverpool’s form under Klopp.
Pochettino has come unstuck against the Reds on nine occasions with four matches ending in a draw.
The match-up has produced just 0.81 points per match for Pochettino.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool are a bogey side for the Argentinian as Liverpool were always a level above his Tottenham side.
If rivalries are to be renewed - on a much larger scale - then it will be interesting to see whether the trend of Liverpool’s good results against him will continue.
