Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that he will stick with his players in January despite talk of a squad overhaul in north London.
Tottenham have not enjoyed a good start to the season and a number of the team look destined to depart at the end of the season.
Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld are all out of contract in the summer and will be free to leave, with doubts over the futures of the likes of Serge Aurier, Danny Rose and Victor Wanyama as well.
That has led to talk that Pochettino will try and bring in a number of players at the turn of the year, although this is something he has very rarely done in his five years at the club.
Dele Alli and Lucas Moura have been the club's only notable signings in January since 2015, with Pochettino instead preferring to do his business in the summer.
So, will a number of players be coming and going once the transfer window reopens?
"No, I don’t believe. I believe in the players we have. I believe in the players that are in Tottenham today," he said at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Watford clash.
"I respect the opinion of people who say we need to change or do something, in or out. But if it is my decision I am going to to stick with players because I know have the quality.
"It’s only to unlock some situation that is going on in their minds. We have great quality to achieve the things we are expected to."
Spurs brought in four new players this summer but only Tanguy Ndombele has had a decent run in the team.
Supporters should see more of Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon over the next few weeks after returning to training with their teammates, while it won't be until next summer when Jack Clarke returns from his Leeds United loan spell unless he is recalled early.
