Mauricio Pochettino is the bookmakers' favourite to take over from Steve Bruce as the next manager of Newcastle United.
Sky Sports report that Pochettino is Newcastle's prospective new owners' number one choice to be the next manager at St James' Park and they are willing to pay him £19m a year to take charge of the club.
The Argentine boss has been out of work since leaving Spurs in November and despite links to Manchester United and Real Madrid, he could rock up in the north East.
The owners are said to have been impressed by the rebuilding project carried out by Pochettino during his five-year tenure at Spurs, taking them to the Champions League final in 2019.
This news has, of course, only further excited Newcastle fans, who are dreaming about the start of their club's new era.

Betfair have priced the ex-Tottenham man as 10/11 favourite to be the next manager of the club.
Former boss Rafa Benitez is second in the running at 6/1, with ex-Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri priced at 11/1.
Other star names include Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa at 20/1, RB Leipzig head coach Julian Nagelsmann at 33/1 and Kevin Keegan at 14/1.
